From planetology to Hopf algebra, a quantum chemistry story.

Abstract :

The understanding of the atmosphere of many celestial objects such as the outer planets of the solar system or Brown Dwarfs requires the prediction and/or the assignment of new spectroscopic data. We will present the original, ab initio methods that we have conceived and implemented to calculate molecular rotational spectra, vibrational spectra and electronic spectra.
